Lorrie is of counsel and is a founding member of the firm's Document Control Group where she advises clients on the creation and implementation of information retention policies and schedules.

Lorrie has extensive experience counseling clients about retention policies and procedures for both litigation related matters and overall company operations.  She has helped to create and implement strategies for both Fortune 100 companies and smaller privately and publicly held companies in the areas of legal and regulatory compliance, litigation holds, privacy and security issues as well as information handling and disposition.  Lorrie's background in litigation and regulatory compliance led her to help create Ryley Carlock's Document Control Group.

Her recent experience includes:

• Created policies and audited schedules for a large company with global operations in the financial industry.
• Designed corporate level records retention policy for Fortune 500 Company in the energy sector.
  
  
• Produced records retention schedules for corporate-wide implementation for large and diverse multinational company with several hundred subsidiaries in the mining industry.
• Responsible for implementation, training and auditing the classification of over 20,000 boxes of legacy records using company's records retention schedules.
• Retained by a large network of companies to assist with record retention program in the healthcare industry.
• Retained by a publicly owned natural gas company to assist in development of records program and schedules.

Lorrie received her LL.M. from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  While attending Harvard, she was also a guest lecturer at Boston College of Law.  Lorrie received her J.D., magna cum laude, from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California, where she received numerous awards including three American Jurisprudence Awards in civil procedure, torts, and women and the law.  She received her B.S., cum laude, from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Lorrie received the highest score on the Arizona Bar Exam in February of 1996.  She also served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Irma Gonzales, United States District Court, Southern District of California.
