Arizona joins a long list of states that have amended their rules of civil procedure to include issues related to electronic discovery.  E-Discovery amendments to the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure took effect on January 1, 2008.  The amended rules are ARCP 16, 26, 26.1, 33, 34, 37 and 45.  The rules closely track the 2007 amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.  For more information and a complete text of the amendments, go to: www.supreme.state.az.us/rules/ramd_pdf/r-06-0034.pdf
