Becoming Shareholder
The firm currently considers associates for shareholder membership after seven years of practice, depending on length of time with the firm and other appropriate factors. However, we do not have an "up or out" system. The firm will consider contract-based or flexible schedules, which serve both an individual's and the firm's needs (in addition to those not interested in the shareholder track). Among the criteria used to determine advancement are:

  • Professional skills

  • Productivity

  • Client responsibility

  • Firm contributions

  • Contribution to firm profitability

  • Fiscal and administrative responsibility

  • Professional activities

  • Collegiality
