Ryley Carlock & Applewhite Selects New Denver Office Managing Shareholder Sheela S. Stack

The Firm Thanks Outgoing Denver Office Managing Shareholder Brian M. Nazarenus for His 14 Years of Remarkable Service

Ryley Carlock & Applewhite is pleased to announce that Sheela S. Stack has been elected as the firm’s new Denver Office Managing Shareholder starting September 10. Stack succeeds long-time leader Brian M. Nazarenus, who has served as Denver Office Managing Shareholder since 2005. Nazarenus will continue to serve on the firm’s Executive Committee. 

With nearly 20 years of experience, Stack practices in the area of water planning, water adjudications, water quality permitting and environmental compliance. Her clients include municipalities, special districts, mining companies, developers, trade associations, and a wide variety of businesses regulated by the government. In addition to taking on the role of Denver Office Managing Shareholder, Stack currently serves as Practice Group Leader for the firm’s Water, Energy, Resources and Environmental Law Practice.

By taking a collaborative and reasonable approach, Stack has a track record of successfully negotiating agreeable resolutions between her clients, state and federal agencies, stakeholder groups, and opposing parties. She is also a certified mediator, helping clients in the areas of environmental and water law conflicts, civil disputes, and real estate and land use issues.
